to the Fort Worth Men's 8.0 Super Senior team who
took 2nd place at Nationals
in Mobile, Alabama.
Appeals for the newly published ratings are done automatically online
- no mailing and no deadlines. The only appeals that are required
to be mailed in are Medical Appeals which must include documentation
from your doctor explaining the injury and the prognosis.
Two
FW Super Senior Teams Advance to Nationals - The
7.0 and 8.0 super senior teams captained by Frank Kologey and
Mike McBurney, respectively, are now Sectional Champions and
will advance to the National Championships to be held in Mobile,
AL at the end of April 2008.
LOST
RACQUET - Someone lost a racquet at
the Men's 3.5 Playoffs in July at RTC. Please contact the league
coordinator to claim. League
Fee Increase -
As those of you who played the fall league know, the league
fee has increased to $20 per league ($17 for the league and
$3 for the non-refundable TennisLink maintenance fee). The
additional funds will help support the community tennis associations
(CTAs) and the growth of tennis in the greater Fort Worth area. 3rd
Set Tiebreak format will be used for ALL league
matches. Coman
Rotation has been adopted as the tiebreak
procedure to be used at the National Tournaments since 2006.
The Texas Section and our local league has also adopted this
format to be used in Sectional and Local Championships and
